The Beyond Investments | Dre Taylor
As a videographer, I'm constantly inspired by stories of people who use their gifts to uplift others. When I came across the work of Dre Taylor, I knew immediately this was a story worth telling—not just through my camera, but through every ounce of heart I bring to my craft. Dre Taylor isn’t just a name; he’s a movement. From Kansas City to Ghana, his journey has been rooted in purpose. He’s a community builder, an educator, a visionary who’s changing lives through real estate, agriculture, and empowerment. What caught my eye first was the 100+ home development Dre is building in Ghana—a project not driven by profit, but by legacy. As a videographer, I see visuals before words. I imagined drone shots of red earth being shaped into foundations, time-lapses of walls rising brick by brick, and the smiles of children who would one day run through those villages. It was more than development; it was destiny being documented. Dre’s journey began with Nile Valley Aquaponics in Kansas City, where he turned a small greenhouse into a thriving urban farm. His mission? To feed his community and teach young people that sustainability and self-reliance are powerful tools. When I think of telling Dre’s story, I imagine close-up shots of his hands in the soil, his eyes fixed on the future, and kids learning beside him—moments that deserve to live forever in film. But what truly moved me wasn’t just the work—it was the why. Dre said, “If you control your food, you control your future.” That statement hit different. It reminded me of why I picked up a camera in the first place: to spotlight the people building a better tomorrow, brick by brick, seed by seed. We recently had the honor of capturing Dre and his team right here in Atlanta. I was brought in to record the event and document the movement through powerful visuals and real voices. I filmed live moments as they happened and captured heartfelt testimonials from attendees who were deeply impacted by Dre’s presence and message. The stories shared, the energy in the room—it was raw, real, and unforgettable. As a storyteller, Dre’s life is the kind of narrative that doesn’t need to be dramatized. It is the drama—the triumph, the sweat, the silence before the applause. This isn’t just documentation—it's legacy preservation. So as I continue filming Dre’s journey, whether in Missouri, Atlanta, or across the waters of Ghana, I aim to capture the heartbeat behind the bricks and soil. Because some stories don’t just need to be told—they need to be seen.

The New First Baptist Church On Gresham Rd.
From the moment I stepped into First Baptist Church, I could feel a different kind of energy not just the excitement of renovation, but the presence of purpose, patience, and divine timing. As a director, I set out to capture more than construction. I wanted to document a spiritual transformation, led by a vision rooted in faith. At the heart of it all was Pastor Norman Thomas Jr. His patience and obedience stood out — he waited on God, trusting His timing. And that decision? It didn’t cost the church a single penny. That level of faith, that kind of stewardship, is rare — and it showed the congregation, and me behind the lens, what it really means to be led by purpose and not pressure. Every frame tells a deeper story: volunteers working with joy, worship echoing through partially-built halls, and the subtle, powerful moments of community coming together. Pastor Thomas sees the bigger picture — the importance of being good stewards for the future, not just for now. This project wasn’t just about filming renovations. It was about documenting what it looks like when a church moves forward by faith — and capturing a legacy being built from the inside out.

Clippers & Cops at Westlake High School – Capturing Tye Dennis's Impactful Session
Today, I had the privilege of filming Tyrone "Tye" Dennis, a retired Atlanta Police Department detective, as he brought his Clippers & Cops initiative to Westlake High School. Dennis, who served in Atlanta's gang unit for a decade, founded Clippers & Cops in 2018 to bridge the gap between law enforcement and the community. In the classroom setting, Dennis shared his personal journey with the students. Growing up in St. Louis, Missouri, he faced peer pressure and made decisions that led to trouble, including suspension from school. However, these challenges became pivotal in redirecting his path towards law enforcement and community service. Dennis emphasized the importance of making positive choices and understanding the long-term consequences of one's actions. He highlighted how a single poor decision could derail future aspirations, but also how resilience and determination can lead to redemption and purpose. As I filmed, it was evident that Dennis's authenticity resonated with the students. Initially, some appeared indifferent, but as he delved deeper into his narrative, their engagement grew. They leaned in, absorbing his words, reflecting on their own lives, and considering the impact of their choices. Clippers & Cops, traditionally held in barbershops to foster open dialogue, has expanded to venues like schools to reach younger audiences. The program addresses topics such as decision-making, goal setting, and the realities of interactions with law enforcement. By sharing his story, Dennis aims to deter youth from making detrimental choices and to inspire them to pursue constructive paths. Capturing this session was a testament to the power of personal storytelling in influencing and guiding the next generation. Dennis's initiative not only educates but also builds trust, showing that law enforcement officers are integral members of the community, dedicated to its well-being. For a deeper insight into Dennis's work with Clippers & Cops.

Seven Clothing Launch Recap - Women's Racer Jump Suit
"When I walked into the At-Promise Center with my camera, ready to capture another story, I didn’t realize I was about to film something truly special. Seven wasn’t like most young entrepreneurs I’ve come across—she didn’t come in searching for direction. She already knew where she was headed. Her goal was clear: build her own clothing brand. My job as a videographer was to showcase that confidence, that drive, and the moment her vision started turning into reality. Through the Entrepreneurship Pathway, she found mentorship, resources, and a community that helped refine her ideas. But At-Promise didn’t create her ambition—Seven already had that. The center simply gave her the tools to build something greater. With her family’s support and her own relentless determination, Seven Clothing Line was born—a brand fueled by passion, creativity, and purpose. As a videographer, I don’t just film events—I tell stories. Stories like Seven’s, where confidence meets opportunity and success follows. Watching her take control of her future and turn a vision into something real is exactly why I do what I do. And this is just the beginning for her. Let’s continue to support and celebrate young entrepreneurs like Seven—because when the right resources meet the right mindset, anything is possible. 🔥🎥 #AtPromise #YoungEntrepreneurs #Videography #SevenClothingLine"

Upper Room Ponce City Market - An Elevated Night
A great project starts with an opportunity, and this one came through Kelsey Maynor, who connected me with Upper Room—one of Atlanta’s best-kept secrets, sitting high above Ponce City Market. The goal? To capture the energy, the atmosphere, and the essence of what makes this rooftop lounge a must-visit. The moment we stepped in, we knew this wasn’t just another bar. The skyline views, the curated music, the intimate yet electric vibe—it all felt cinematic. And with Lobos Tequila as an exclusive partner, the experience was taken to another level. Founded by NBA legend LeBron James, Lobos is more than just a tequila—it’s a brand built on craftsmanship, community, and excellence. Their premium selection—smooth, bold, and full of character—was the heart of every handcrafted cocktail, setting the tone for unforgettable nights. As the cameras rolled, we focused on the details: the way the golden-hour light hit the glasses, the effortless flow of conversation among guests, and the energy that comes alive as the night progresses. Upper Room isn’t just a place to grab a drink—it’s where connections are made, where the city feels alive, and where every night holds a story. Now, it’s your turn to experience it. Whether you're celebrating, unwinding, or just looking for something different, Upper Room is where you need to be. Come for the drinks, stay for the vibe, and sip on Lobos Tequila, a brand backed by greatness, while taking in one of the best rooftop views in ATL. An elevated night starts here. 🌇🥃 📍 Upper Room | Ponce City Market #UpperRoomATL #LobosTequila #BYCMedia
